American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Best bagels south of New York City! I come here all the time and i’m consistently satisfied. All the bagels are fresh and taste so good even with no toppings. That doesn’t mean you should skip out on a sandwhich as the toppings are extremely high quality. The staff are super helpful and friendly. I’ll say that occasionally the line gets long but that’s to be expected when the food is so great. I love this place. It means the bagel.

Great great great! Went there in the morning, no crazy line or anything. Totally worth it. BUTTTTTT I waited inside for the bagels and left there smelling like burn bagel. All my clothes etc. Horrible. My recomendación: dont wait inside. Once again totally worth it!

Tried the king guava bagel and it was spectacular!!! Such a fun miami take on a bagel!! 10/10 will be back!!! It is a small shop with limited seating I went around 8:45 on a rainy Sunday and I didnt have to wait but I’ve heard there’s normally long lines on The Weeknd!

Great small bagel shop to stop by for breakfast or lunch when visiting the Grove. Some bar seats and outdoor benches are available if you prefer to eat at the location. Really friendly staff. During Saturday lunchtime, the wait is about 20 minutes.

I had a wonderful experience at El Bagel. The bagels tasted freshly baked with a nice chew and great flavor; the cream cheeses and sandwich fillings were flavorful and well balanced. The cafe has a cozy, casual vibe and the staff were welcoming and efficient. Portions are generous and prices fair — perfect for dine-in or takeout. Highly recommended if you’re craving a really good bagel and a strong cup of coffee.
